Renowned Harmonica Bluesman Returns To Tempe Center For The Arts On Nov. 27
Tempe, Ariz.- Bob Corritore brings his band back to the Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m.
Performing with Corritore are legendary blues singer Bobby Jones, pianist Leon Blue, guitarist Chris James; bassist Patrick Rynn and drummer Brian Fahey.
Corritore’s fiery style carries forward the old school of playing he learned as a young man directly from many of original pioneers of Chicago Blues. His career in the blues is multifaceted with more than 35 albums released to date on labels such as HighTone, HMG, Blue Witch, Blind Pig, Earwig, Putumayo, Random Chance, the VizzTone Label Group and Delta Groove. Many of Corritore’s releases have been nominated or were winners of various WC Handy, Grammy, Blues Music and Blues Blast Music awards. He is also widely recognized for his many roles in the blues, as band leader, night club owner, record producer, KJZZ’s Lowdown Blues radio show host and arts foundation founder.
